  •  The media are bloodthirsty (5+ / 0-)

If one of these nuts opened fire on a group of reform supporters, they'd cream their pants with joy, egging on yet more death an violence. They have no shame.

It's like the Clinton blowjob all over again, except that this time, lives are literally at risk.

The media can live in Birtherland, for all I care.  In fact, I'd rather they stay there.  We can take Amy Goodman, Keith, Rachel -- and the blogosphere.

They tortured people to get false confessions to fraudulently justify our invading Iraq.

CNBC was out there asking some of these groups if there were any meetings were they were planning on really going wild, just so they could send a crew and catch it.

The press is encouraging all this behavior by focusing on it, putting the worst offenders on TV (not just clips but interviewing them) and, in at least CNBC's case, actually contacting the tea baggers themselves and pretty much asking if they would riot for the cameras.

in a strange manner. I guess they are trying to put stupidity on the air as an example, but I'm not sure the context needed is supplied. But, that's the problem with press right now anyway, there's plenty of video and lots of editorial comment, but very little actual reporting. It's all circus, all the time.
