  •  My story (0+ / 0-)

My grandmother's heart stopped, the doctors restarted it but she never regained consciousness, and it stopped the final time a few days later.  My father was very upset and said, "My mother had to die twice."

Every one of you out there needs to make your own final arrangements while you're mentally able to do so.  It can be anything you want, but it needs to be what you want...nothing more and nothing less.  Mine is done and on file, as is my spouse's.

Find a wingnut near you.  Ask them if the doctors should hold their life in suspension with every medical gizmo available, or if the insurance company should tell the doctors to pull the plug, 'cuz they aren't going to pay any more, or if the wingnut and Mrs. Nut should make those decisions for themselves with Medicare paying the pros to tell them the options.
