Only a small percentage of Americans have a family member stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Most of these are middle income or lower people who joined the military either because they needed the money for college or there were few if any employment opportunities back home.

The Bush Administration pandered to the incredible patriotism of this group and used them to fight a war of aggression. A Nuremberg defense of those who designed and ordered torture helped them avoid prosecution and only the lowest ranked like Englund have been punished.

two tours in Iraq already. we in W. Va. join in numbers a little higher than some other states. Like Cahir, the captain's next tour will be Afghanistan.

Like Pat TIllman's family has voiced their family's concern. these women sinc I am their demographic deserve to be heard until the "we may torture again" mantra goes away.

but emails threats that shut it down?
