I don't see it as entitlement; I see it as guerrilla warfare.  They know they don't have the right; they mean to disrupt anyway.

I'm glad the meeting was so tame.  I'm hoping that things will take a lower key now that the disruption tactic has been exposed for what it is.

I think that some of the local tea baggers and Minutemen chapters mistakenly thought that they could try this in a relatively liberal district (+22% Obama).  Organizing for America really pushed the e-mail announcements the last few days and the local progressive groups were very visible at one of Stark's other town hall meetings this morning in Fremont.  The organizers were very smart in passing out signs and stickers to supporters.  This very visibly demonstrated just how overwhelmingly pro-reform the crowd was, even if the wannabe disruptors carried biggers signs.

Hard for their guerilla tactics to succeed when you have a diverse (i.e., representative) crowd showing up for a meeting.  It's easy to infiltrate a meeting if the turnout is small.  But, not when 1,000+ people, most of whom are actually Pete Stark's constituents, turn out.
