    titled "No Problem."

I think we are both along the exact same wavelength.

      Right with ya.

I had a discussion at a large BBQ this weekend (to the annoyance of multiple friends that are pretty apolitical)... In particular, I wanted to get the opinions of 3 practicing physicians that happened be in our little circle.  All three are engaged citizens - and none of them watch any of the cable news channels.

They ran the gamut... One (an obstetrician) thought any plan was going to be a disaster and believed wholeheartedly in an NHS-type system - his opinion was ridding us of "insurance" entirely.   The second (family practice) was only lukewarm to a public option, but wholeheartedly supported the other tenets of the reform package (pre-existing condition elimination, universally required coverage).   The third (another family doc) was hostile to the whole reform - she's had some bad experiences with Medicare reimbursement, and wanted no part of "Medicare for all" without substantial Medicare reforms and changes.

I've spent 10 years working for a info and software provider to hospitals, physicians, and other providers dealing with Medicare/Medicaid billing, claims, and reimbursement -- so I know my way around the system, particularly from the provider and program compliance perspective.... none of them were feeding any bull into the discussion.

They all had a few good points here and there.

I know what I would ultimately put in a bill - but I also know that I am not going to be writing the final bill.

I guess everyone's got their own blog now.
