        Your diary is beautifully put together, Boatsie. That's a lot of thought-provoking content, too. We don't do very well here at home thinking about our interconnected relationship with others outside our borders, unless there is an immediate and undeniable self-interest that we can not ignore.
        I am glad that I read your diary. It brought back memories of a visit to Kenya long ago. Of all the places I saw in the service, I felt most foreign there. Seeing poverty was not new. It was more a matter of being mentally prepared as a group going in, that there was no facade of easy-going life like we saw in some other economically distressed countries. Thank you for this.
