    And it's not that these people are GOP appointments. The DoJ needs to be non-political. It's that they corrupt appointments of a corrupt Administration.
     It's not the Party that matters, but the high standards that these positions need to have as a requirement.

      the USAs are political appointments, are they not?

      There are others, though, and who knows how many, who were hired through the agency of Monica Goodling, who were ostensibly merit hires. They are going to be much harder to remove.

      They are in what amount to civil service jobs, which are purposely protected from political interference, because they were never supposed to be political hires in the first place.

      The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
