    back in 2006, before she became the State Party Chair I believe.
    Very, very personable person and seemed to know her stuff.

    Senate could be too huge a leap, but that's only if they fear a lack of name recognition.  And, given the general opinion of Congress (regardless of party) by many folks in GA, her legitimate outsider status could be a plus.

      in almost every county since she has been a very active state party chair and very focused on building strong, grassroots county parties in all 159 counties.  She's known in the base, which going into a primary season is a very good thing (keeps others out and let's her build name recognition among the general).

      AND, Jane is a Vandiver, that name still rings strong throughout Georgia and will at least open the door for Jane to make her impression.
