    ...sounds similar to the Federal Reserve. Quasi-governmental that essentially controls the banking system.

    It would be interesting to watch that play out in the health care arena, but I doubt it would work very quickly, if at all. I'm not willing to risk lives on it.

    Medicare buy-in would be the easiest and most efficient.

      There are several quasi-governmental structures in our country and the Federal Reserve is a good example. Depending on how you define it the FDIC, Tennessee Valley Authority, and Corporation for Public Broadcasting might also be considered quasi-governmental programs.

      I personally don't like that idea. It is classic Republicans efforts to descredit government.
