    While I read Kos' analysis of the poll, you have looked further and revealed something that I missed.  All the over-the-top racial attacks against Obama are having an effect, but they are wildly limited to one region.  

    If these numbers were to hold by region, it means that Obama's electoral strength remains solid in all regions of the country but the South.  It also means that racial appeals have their greatest impact in one region:  the land of Dixie.  

    That is extremely interesting and may mean that Obama is not in as much trouble as it would otherwise appear.  Although I'd love to see some numbers for Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia.  Great analysis and post
