    the networks in alot of cities would buy up the last seats to avoid blackouts. Now there will be too many empty's for it too make sense to do that for local stations.  If the Jags can't sell thier seats then why not give them away at bargain prices like 5 bucks because the fans that go will still end up buying stuff anyway.

      Sorry.
      San Diego Charger tix are $50 to $100 each and no team is gonna give us a $5 ticket.
      They used to have the City of San Diego buy unsold tix via a corrupt ticket guarantee program, that's another story.
      Millionaire athletes are the same as billionaire CEO's in my book.
      I used to follow the NFL, not so much now.

      I'd've loved to have had one Saturday. Couldn't get Brad Sham on the radio and the $#@%&! Falcons on my TV were DO NOT WANT!!

        the ballpark has holes in the walls, so people can watch for free. Not many, and it is not so comfortable, but it is there. Many prefer to take a boat into McCovey Cove and do radio or TV while waiting for home runs to clear the right field wall.
