charge on other people who have shows, please list them and state or link their racism.

It is a serious charge not to be taken lightly.

I don't see how Beck is racist.  I think he is on planet Mars and hates Obama and his policies.

Just prove the racism, only fair.

Make sure you give me a negative rep on all my posts tonight KF.  Thanks.

I just ask for proof of the racism, that is all.

If it really is racism and not just being against the administrations policies I want to be the first to know.

Calling people racist is the easiest cop out in any arguement.

You don't see how Glenn Beck is racist when his dossier is at the top of the rec list?

The racism in other shows I can't demonstrate with a link to a diary on the rec list, but I'm willing to bet given the source the proof is no further away than media matters.

You two seem to know each other and I don't recognize either of you so I'll leave you to your little lover's spat.

I am not a reactionary like you are.

I am not defending Beck except the fact that I don't think he is truly a racist.  That is ALL.

I find him annoying and I have seen both the CNN Beck and the Fox Beck.

He is WAY different on Fox.  He is much more controversial and stupid.  He is out to hurt the Obama presidency but I don't believe he is doing that because the president is black.

        •  OK, how about this? (0+ / 0-)

You don't have to BE a racist (however you want to define it) to say things that are, in effect, racist.

Glenn Beck has spent the summer ginning up racial fear and animus, spinning a tale of black gain at white expense.

Whether he's a card-carrying KKK member or a schmuck who's trying to be sensational to up his ratings doesn't matter.  He's still elevating the language and narratives of white nationalism in the public discourse.  We need to hold Beck accountable for what he said, period.
