  •  Thank you, Ezekial! That is what I need to hear (0+ / 0-)

if Miller is anto-free (to rob from the poor and give to the rich) trade I can support him whole heartedly.

That was the news I was looking for. To me it translates as NOT A BLUE DOG!

    I appreciate the news. Cheers

like it when it affects South Carolina.

I believe in free trade, but that was a cost that South Carolina couldn't afford to pay.

was upset by Wilson's pledge to vote against CAFTA, which Wilson then ignored and voted for.

Rob’s a fair trade Democrat who supports the Employee Free Choice Act. He’s a breath of fresh air for a state that desperately needs new leadership.

(, Sept 10, 'Joe Wilson, Meet Rob Miller')

He states his disdain for CAFTA on his website under the 'Scrapping unfair trade deals' header.

Some of his top donors in the 2008 cycle included Labor unions and 'the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers'.

Roll Call from March 17, 2009 does state he's a 'fiscal conservative'. mentions he wants to ditch NCLB in a June 14, 2009 blog entry.

Jan 11, 2008 Bluffton Today article.

Project VoteSmart essay on debate between Wilson and Miller, 10/29/2008 with Miller wanting to kill Bush tax cuts, get tax cuts to middle class, focus money on infrastructure, etc.

The most frustrating part of trying to search out real items on Miller is the way blogs will show old items in one column on a page and new headers and whatnot in another column.  This fools google into showing entries that mention the fundraising effort, even when you're trying to look in a timeframe that's a year or more old.

I can't actually find where I read about him and EFCA again, now that I'm looking for it, but I did find that there is also a 'Rob Miller' who is a democratic party chair type out in Utah, and now I'm second-guessing myself and wondering if I was actually reading something about the other Rob Miller :P
