    Every one is going to cast votes that royally suck.

    But, it is much more productive to debunk their bogus talking points than to pillory each one as the "Demon of the Week" when they behave poorly.

        Beat the hell out of their argument, but it's a little shortsighted to say "Sen. XYZ is an irredeemable piece of trash" on an issue today and then to try to lobby that Senator on a different issue in three months.

      say that they don't score beyond 10 years. That was in a letter Elmendorf sent to Conrad. And this is AFTER the scoring was increased to 10 years from five.

      Baucus has been around long enough to know that NOBODY's 20 year projections turn out even close to accurate. So why does he want one here?

      I've looked. I can't find a single instance where Baucus has publicly requested a 20 year cost estimate on ANYTHING.
