  •  There are other grounds for sanctions, I think... (7+ / 0-)

but am not certain. See this comment.

    See also these rules.

Look along the left-hand side for the link to the Rules. I do not know how these relate to the rules cited by diarist since I am far from California, but the rules I found at the Bar web page say -

Rule 3-110 Failing to Act Competently

    (A) A member shall not intentionally, recklessly, or repeatedly fail to perform legal services with competence.
       (B) For purposes of this rule, "competence" in any legal service shall mean to apply the 1) diligence, 2) learning and skill, and 3) mental, emotional, and physical ability reasonably necessary for the performance of such service.

Rule 3-200 Prohibited Objectives of Employment

A member shall not seek, accept, or continue employment if the member knows or should know that the objective of such employment is:
       (A) To bring an action, conduct a defense, assert a position in litigation, or take an appeal, without probable cause and for the purpose of harassing or maliciously injuring any person; or
       (B) To present a claim or defense in litigation that is not warranted under existing law,...

Taitz fails these tests, over and over, and should be disbarred.

    •  Oh sure, you could draw up a bill of complaint (7+ / 0-)

against her with 20 or 30 good charges.

If I were doing that, I'd emphasize her fundamental dishonesty.  One of the very basics of bar admission is proof of personal honesty, and lawyers are supposed to act honestly and forthrightly in all their public dealings, not just with respect to law practice.

I regard Oily's reckless disregard for truth to be the equivalent of entrenched dishonesty. And I believe that makes her unfit to hold a law license.

And with a pattern like this, I'll bet there are errors and example of fraudulent misrepresentations on her green card and/or naturalization applications. She could end up jailed and deported.
