    figures as Ford in the 2008 model year.
    And Ford builds a lot of suvs and trucks.  So much for their superior foresight.

      But they also have sold 2,000,000 hybrid vehicles.

      As much as I like my 2010 Prius, I plan to buy the Nissan Leaf if it really has the 100 mile all electric range.  Seems to me that Nissan is the company who has leapfrogged, GM is waging the lost war with Toyota on hybrids while Nissan has jumped to all electric.

      Think how simple that all electric car is when compared to a hybrid- no oil changes, no transmission, no tailpipe to belch out pollutants, no waiting in line at gas stations.  Just charge it up at night or during the day if you work at Google with their solar panel covered parking garages.
