    He is no dilettante, he is a genius, a term I reserve for very few.
    Saw him for the nth time at Red Rocks this summer in a rocking show. I didn't know he was a bicyclist, but he was in obvious great shape, so it is not surprising. He was still able to crank out the energy.

      may be suggesting that Renaissance Man connotes a powerful analytic ability linked to a talent for imaginative and illuminating synthesis. Byrne certainly has the latter, but remains too predictable on the former.
