I thought the President didn't think highly of MoveOn. I wrote Senator Levin. I hope this time Washington listens to the people against the war. We were right about Iraq. It is rumored Bush allowed Bid Laden to cross into Pakistan from Afghanistan.

There will always be terrorist to fight like there is always crime...

If we are NOT going to leave then increase the troops ten fold, impose a war tax to pay for it, go bomb the crap out of the country and leave within six months. That is the only way to win it.

    •  Bring back the draft, send over 1/2 million US (0+ / 0-)

soldiers, and when that is not enough, send over another 1/2 million, until we get it done....
when we do not even know what getting it done means.

As in "We will know success when we see it", which is pretty much our battle plan, along with send more troops, send more troops, send more troops.

We have 59 to 69,000 troops there now,
even more private contractors than soldiers,
plus 100,000 support soldiers in the surrounding area.

The around 40,000 (?) NATO troops, of which some were sent only for the election and will be leaving when finalized.

How many lives for this corrupt country, full of tribal warlords always warring against one another, 90% illiterate, many still living in caves, who know nothing of democracy because corruption rules their country?

"Obama, "We Hardly Knew YE." "This is really not the official website for the Obama fan club."
