  •  Civil Rights, Social Security (0+ / 0-)

both passed by progressives working in the same vein as FDL and OpenLeft. History is on their side for one thing.

It's not my fault you don't pay attention to what is going on in Congress and I'm not going to hold your hand. Everyone knows why Hagan now supports a public option and moved left as well as Henry Waxman because they do pay attention.

Incrementally so and in in fits and bursts, bits and pieces.

You claim history and yet you are so truly clueless about it.

You need to stroke your ego? Fine but I find it childish especially because you never have proved your claim.

      •  Yes using the strategy you are decrying (0+ / 0-)

Showing you know nothing about history.  Civil Rights legislation has also failed doing what you want FDL and other activists to do, nothing, so the fight had to carry on and progress was achieved one step at a time, but you don't support that. Truman fought in a way you hate and though it failed back then in his fair deal it paved the way for the late successes during the Johnson administration s he galvanized progressives to keep moving and pressure Congress for years.

And now you look foolish. It was mentioned above, but I don't feel like holding your hand historically or analytically anymore.

Substance and the historical record speak for itself.
