    relatively inexpensive some of these projects are- it would overwhelming for a teacher/classroom to come up with but It would seem lie some of these $3-400 could be knocked out with a bake sale over the weekend.

    Oh! Wait- we're using the bake sales to help folks with medical expenses.

    Why oh why does this country send so much on defense contractors and so little taking care of its children and ill people?

    One bonus from one Wall Street Exec could wipe out the entire list

      You can swoop in with a relatively small donation and make an immediate, tangible difference in a specific classroom for specific kids.

      And the whole thing is completely transparent. You can see the breakdown of costs, and DonorsChoose.org posts updates when the project is funded, as well as when the supplies are ordered and sent to the school.
