    And yes, the 20'th is positively urban compared to much of this district.  The "progressive pockets" are in the spots where there's a college around - St Lawrence County has a few, as does Clinton County.  In general, it's very rural (Most of the Adirondack Park is in it) with those areas which aren't in the park mostly farming communities, with a big military post (Ft. Drum).  Even the Democrats would be considered conservative.  

    Right now, this area is seriously hurting economically.  Dairy farms are going under, and just about every other industry has been hurt.  So, yes, there's a chance to switch this, but there's only so far we can move it right now.  It's been a Republican area for a very long time, and it's not going to be progressive just because we'd like it.

    I think that I have had enough of you telling me how things will be. Today I choose a new way to go ... and it goes through you!
