    with which you state your information but from my experience in the UK anyway the insurers are out of the  picture                     completely, except for those offering private plans.  The government runs and owns the sytem, they employ the providors, they own the hospitals, they set the national health tax rate, in other words they own, manage and fund the health CARE delivery system, not the health insurance system.

    s far as I am concerned from a great deal of personal exposure and experiecne with young people, old people and people in between, sick people, well people and even visiting people, it works quite adequatley to provide basic free, except for the national tax imposed on everyone, tax payers anyway, health care for all.

    That is what I would eventually like to see in America but none of the plans are even anywhere close to that. You all talk about single payor, but you are still talking about paying for insurance, not care and coverage.
