  •  Possible Poe? (6+ / 0-)

...could this "project" be a parody?  If so, this wouldn't be the first time that Conservapedia has fallen "victim" to such an effort.  I believe that one such effort had to do with "Jesus Horses" (dinosaurs).

    •  When I heard about this, I was sure it (0+ / 0-)

      was a parody.  Insane otherwise.

    •  Even if it's not a parody, they're fringe (0+ / 0-)

We should make fun of them mercilessly. But without inflating their importance. This is awfully shaky stuff - it's a wiki after all - and if it's a hoax it could blow up in our face. And even if not, it's really not worth crying wolf over.

At least the right knows how to do its hissy fits. FIRST you connect the shady org to something that matters. In their case, the ACORN/Obama connection is 97% racism, but they did the work to make that (false) connection first. THEN you trash the shady org. If you do it the other way around, it accomplishes nothing.

Opinions are like assholes. I spend way too much time looking at them on the internet.

    •  Distinctly possible, I think. (0+ / 0-)

On the other hand, it seems everybody is willing to believe it, which says something about Conservapedia anyway.

    •  It's no parody. (1+ / 0-)
