We desperately need reform, if not as far-reaching as that just passed in Argentina

And why not as far reaching?!

I don't think this is so far-fetched a prospect, once we have a Progressive Caucus super-majority in Congress.

But meanwhile, I think we also need to deal with what we've got...like, holding monopoly corporate fascist commercial mass media responsible for what they say and do...like, if they deliberately lie, or spew sedition, they should be arrested, and their assets seized.

The public airways should be administered in the public interest, plain and simple.

Of course, the criteria for that should be democratic, to make sure it's fair and balanced, heh...

you enjoyed the reality bypass, if only for long enough to regain your equilibrium.

You understand that what's along the more-traveled path is deception; a whole lot of people never bother to see the scenic route, where truth comes into view.

Unfortunately, truth is not a factor in the Faux reality most people live.
