    Rossi's small gains are to be expected in what appear to be areas he won.  King County is where it will be decided.  I confess to not knowing a lot about Seattle.  However, if they are like almost every other major city a higher percentage of votes are undercounted.  

    It's another reason we need to fight for election reform in every state.  Fore example, if Florida had uniform voting (like MN, OR, others) Gore would have won in 2000 even with all the voter supression, etc.  The punchcard ballots used in counties largely carried by Gore only counted 96.8% of the vote, but the touch screen counted 99.7%.  I'm not going to go into the statistics, but if the entire state used the same standards (and if they didn't fix the results, which is always possible) Gore carries the state without any significant doubt.
