  •  Maybe a recall (none)
From what I've read on bi-partisan forums, WA Republicans are talking about a recall election if she wins the recount (or especially, if she wins via the court cases).
    •  GOP already sending up recall trial balloons (none)
Heard it on a Bellingham wingnut radio show last week.

      •  I don't think they can... (4.00)
I just did an internet search and found a lot of wingers talking about doing a recall, but according the National Council of State Legislature (http://www.ncsl.org/programs/legman/elect/recallprovision.htm) in order to have a recall their must be a "commission of some act or acts of malfeasance or misfeasance while in office, or who has violation of oath of office (Const. Art. I §33))

Since she 1) done nothing personally, 2)no crime is even alleged, and 3) is isn't yet in the office of Governor so nothing she has done is possible to be a violation of her oath of office since she isn't in the office yet!

    •  Recall! (none)
So, there's a possibility that Rossi won't win, and we won't have to keep Gregiore as governor?

While I'm generally opposed to any and all ballot initiatives, and think that recalls are a bad idea in general, I'd have to think about this a little more.

If she stood up for herself, her party, and the voters of her state just the slightest bit, then it would be easier to support her lacklusterness.

Is it really that hard to say "We live in a democracy, we vote for our leaders, and we must count every vote. Mr. Rossi doesn't seem to understand democracy -- his statements trouble me."?
