...when Obama supporters used it (and let's face it, it was very funny) against Hillary Clinton?

Sorry, I guess I don't agree with the opposite of IOKIYAR any more than I agree with the unadulterated version.

      •  Because the Obama Campaign didn't endorse it... (4+ / 0-)

It wouldn't be a big deal if it was found on youtube by the DNC, however the fact that the NRCC blasted out the link on their official twitter feed is what is damning.

        •  Like that's a meaningful difference. (0+ / 0-)

One of the many awesome tactical innovations of the Obama campaign last year, particularly during the primaries, was its division-of-labor model in which the most cutting attacks were left to people not officially identified with the campaign.  This was not just how things happened, it was completely planned and it was fantastic.  The Clintons would be the first to tell you, as people who value what works even when it works against them.

By tweeting it around, the NRCC gave the vid their stamp of approval.  Are you saying the Obama campaign was behind the Clinton vid in question? I don't think anybody is really slamming the vid for being made, as has been mentioned in this thread, it's an overone and played out internet meme not unlike Rick Roll'ing, but for a political party to push it is ridiculous.
