Where is the DNC approval of these vids? That's the issue here.

...Hitler to be funny. I'm surprised at the number of comments in this thread from people seeming to say that Hitler is the LOLz of the Internet. He's not. He's a brutal madman murderer.

And I suspect the GOP will try to defelct blame by saying as much and even linking to ones created that target Republicans.  However the key here is the RNCC approval of this one, pushing it to all their twitter followers.

It would be totally different of the DNC found this on youtube and tried to make issue out of it. However by the RNCC linking it and blasting it out via their twitter account, they've endorsed it and now own it.

NRCC spokesman Randall even said that they initially though it was funny as reason why they linked to it.

        •  I'm sure the RNCC didn't have a problem (0+ / 0-)

when one of the entrants in Move-On's Bush video tributes used Hilter.  IIRC, they went apeshit, even though MoveOn pulled the video down.  But then again, IOKIYAR.  (Freemworks has a post about it on their website from this August)

Umm, that's PRESIDENT Obama and SENATOR Franken, mr. o'reilly.

...I know. I just find it generally distasteful. IOW, the fact that the GOP linked to a internet humor meme doesn't excuse the GOP, since i find that meme distasteful. It really says something about the GOP that they would not only find this sort of Hitler humor funny, but also they would compare Obama and Pelosi to Hitler is really offensive.

I think we're on the same page here, though you might be a little more open to the internet meme than i am. i just have such a visceral, personal hatred for hitler that i'm fairly inflexible.

      •  I'm Jewish. I had ancestors who died in the (0+ / 0-)

Holocaust, and these videos don't bother me one bit. They're humorous and I know they're just that, meant as a joke and nothing more. I don't have a stick up my ass and can watch them and laugh rather than get my undies in a bunch.
