  •  I received my BA in 1988, so we're not too (0+ / 0-)

far from each other.  My BA is in Architecture, it was my first love.

I was exposed to the masters of architecture and art at an early age (7yo) and it made a huge impression on me.  I lived in southern Italy for 3.5 years, as my father was in the military.  Dad saved his leave time and we camped our way through Europe.  So, I've been to Pompeii, Naples, Rome, Pisa, Florence, Monte Carlo, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Salzburg, Vince (sp??), San Marino, Crete, and other places, all by the time I was 10yo.  My parents never sensored anything.  I saw both versions of "David", "Venus d'Milo", the "Thinker", the "Winged Victory", the inside of the dome of St Peters and the Florence Cathedral, all sorts of art and architecture.  However, the "Mona Lisa" was on loan to Russia when we were at the Lourve.
