When he visited my high school class, so yes, dickhead would be an apt description of him

    •  Problem is, it's one dickhead versus another (0+ / 0-)

Say whatever you like about Kasich, the real joke in the article is the reference to Ted Strickland's "values."

Exactly what values would those be? The moral stand he took against gambling in the 2006 campaign, a moral stand now completely abandoned? The value of preserving the state's environment, while Strickland alowed the state forests and Wayne National Forest to be decimated on his watch? The value of keeping high-level nuclear waste out of the state, which Strickland said he would do in 2006, while he secretly provided two letters of support for the waste dumpers?

Sorry, we have two Republicans now in the Ohio governor's race. Voters are going to choose the one honest about who he is.

On how Strickland isn't a real Democrat, while you regularly write here about a self-described Reagan Conservative, who flirted with running as a Republican this cycle, and ran as an Independent last cycle, and then criticize the actual life-long Democrat in the race.

Oh, and then there's the fact that you completely misrepresented the polling in that race and you falsely claimed that Vic Wulsin was supporting your candidate.

Oh, yes, please lecture us more on ideological purity.

        •  Can it, Mr. Hester (0+ / 0-)

You're a former Stricland staff person and a current Strickland stooge, which you routinely fail to disclose. Strickland paid your salary, and now you lie for him.

Nothing you assert here is correct, and the fact that I am supporting the LEADING DEMOCRAT in the OH-02 congressional race cannot be twisted to suggest I'm a Republican.

By the way, David Krikorian was also a life-long Democrat until he became, briefly, an Independent, disgusted by the likes of you in the Ohio Democratic Party.

You are the reason that the ODP is in such dire straits.

Ohiobama has a seething vendetta against Ted Strickland and everything he says about the governor should be viewed in that light. There's little that's Republican about Gov. Strickland; in fact, if you compare him to what our Ohio Republicans have become, he's a polar opposite. Ohiobama is on the rampage primarily because of a disagreement about nuclear waste and select environmental issues. It colours everything he says. I don't agree with the governor on everything but he's done an astonishing job of juggling competing needs in an incredibly adverse economic environment while being naysayed by ALL of the state's right-wing mainstream media.

Anastasia has a seething vendetta against Ohiobama. She also seems to think that my impugning my motives, of which she has no clue since she does not know me, she can somehow salvage the political fortunes of Ted Strickland, whom she supported a year ago because he was "popular."

Popular. Get that? Popular. The only good thing she could say about Strickland a year ago was that he was popular.

Well, he's not popular any more, and there goes the one positive argument you ever made about Ted Strickland.
