    This is a significant moment in American sports.  Not because of the outcome but because of HOW this came about.  The initial reaction on ESPN and the like was muted to mildly positive. Then the PLAYERS spoke up.  Especially Mathias Kiwanuka, whose very eloquent statement made it into the NY Daily News and then on to ESPN and the climate changed long before Rev. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton got involved.  Of course Rush and his ilk are going to blame it on those two and the liberal media, etc.  but the truth is this is the biggest political movement led by NFL players in a generation.
