Thanks for the useless comment that shows no understanding or empathy for an entire country being victimized by the world.  How pithy and smart though, you sure showed me...

who describe those who disagree with them as "useless", "traitors", "exploiters" or "insensitive".  It rarely works very well to bring other people closer to your point of view.

It was not a snarky one-liner but a serious question.  Responding that being against the piracy is the same as condoning exploitation of the third world by developed countries is the type of thing I used to hear from the Young Spartacans some decades ago.  It didn't generate them any supporters either.

      This sig line for rent.

Bank and insurance CEOs are ripping us off just like the factory boats you allege are ripping off the Somalis.  Sick people are dying due to their insurance being cancelled.

You can seek justice through the long hard process of activism or you use it as an excuse to become a criminal. You have chosen to be an apologist for the criminals.

      •  And he can certainly write about it (0+ / 0-)

in a diary addressing that topic.

        •  No, he is addressing YOUR topic. n/t. (0+ / 0-)
        •  wow - sorry you got such a dipshit response (0+ / 0-)

          to your diary.

It is about time to take up pitchforks and shotguns to put a healthy dose of fear into the corporate communists (with apologies to real communists).

Are the detractors here suggesting that the Somalis start a letter writing campaign instead of taking up piracy?

Why do wilderness voice and MMW think that it's okay for us (the first world) to commit crimes against Somalis, but when they fight back on the same level at which we attack them, somehow they're not entitled to do so?

That is the same logic Republicans use. Essentially the logic is

"Hey I'm the bully here!  It's not fair for you to fight back!"
