  •  Posthumous apology from David Corn? (4.00)
So is our favorite faux lefty David Corn finally going to apologize for his personal attacks on Gary Webb?  Hey Dave, he sure was right about the CIA and the crack epidemic, wasn't he?  Maybe you didn't learn about that when you took off on a "State Department" junket in that oil-producing nation just after your kind words for Mr. Webb.
    •  D. Corn = "faux lefty" (none)

      •  There's a reason why Palast referred to Corn (none)
as one of his favorite journalists the other day just before he responded to Corn's dismissal of his chrges. Corn does really good work.

He's mostly anal about proof and Palst's statistical anaysis, to Corn, did not constitute proof that Kerry won Ohio.

They're both right. Statistical evidence is not absolute proof. But what Corn doesn't realize I suspect is that the statistical method Palast employs are like money in the bank. A lot of people don't know that before Palast became a journalist, he was an investigator. He helped districts attorneys prove fraud cases using the same statistical methods. It's the norm in accounting cases.

So Corn is technically correct. But Palast is most probably right.
