  •  Drones Will Be Big at Utah's Dugway Proving Grn'd (6+ / 0-)

DUGWAY, Utah (AP) - Army brass will dedicate a new center Wednesday for the testing of unmanned drones at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah's west desert.

Dugway will consolidate the Army's acceptance testing - the final assessment before aircraft are sent to U.S. military units around the world. Dugway is ideal because it sits alongside a Rhode Island-sized test and training range. Another plus is that one center can dispatch drones faster to troops around the world.

Engineers will work to equip drones to carry larger missile payloads.
