    The US murdered 58,000 US soldiers and who knows how many Vietnamese.

    In that case, every war is murder. Some will make that argument and I agree to a certain extent if it is a war of aggression.  Even then, I would not designate every soldier or citizen as a murderer.

    Back to the point, it is a question of the meaning of the words execution and combat.  They are totally different situations and risk to those that take human life.  

    I am curious what you think of a policemen that kills someone in the line of duty?
