    This is a freaky district (isn't it the one that has been held by Republicans since the 1870s?), and no matter the woe-betiding from the old media, it will not change the game for 2010.

    It's not a campaign anymore, Mr. Obama.

      when about 40% of Americans simply never bother to vote.

      And in a midterm election where the electorate generally is even older, whiter, and more conservative to begin with, if that 17% truly comes out of the woodwork to vote and GOTV, they can actually cause us unexpected problems.

      Fringe movements should not be allowed to gain any real power.
