  •  why in the world would you wanna leave Bawlmer, (2+ / 0-)

hon? They're gonna put the flamingo back up, really they are!

Good luck to you. We haven't always agreed but you've brought some important perspectives to this place and I thank you for all you've done.

Now, will you just tell me what part of town that chemo center was in? I hope it wasn't a place I've been associated with - then again, it really doesn't matter, does it?

    Thanks again.

    •  There are two hospitals (0+ / 0-)

The first one was a rural hospital on the West Coast that I ended up in when I kept fainting and couldn't get up. The second one was a hospital in Baltimore that isn't the best known one there and doesn't have a medical school. I think you can read between the lines there.

In defense of the oncologist, endless construction may have kept him from going to his office to talk about that. As for the taxi cab ride, that was theoretically private, but the outpatient chemo center has those stalls and the entire room can hear anything that's going on in the room.

I hope they've established a charity ride home program for the cancer patients by now--this was 3 and a half years ago when it happened.
