    began by building generator motors during the war, then building inexpensive motor bikes to use their motor building expertise after the war. They moved to building motorcycles, then cheap cars, then finally to a full line of commuter and sports cars including hybrids. It took longer, but Honda is a very successful company.

    I'm not altogether sure computers or cell phones are analogous products to cars. Cars have been around for a while and the market is fairly mature. All electric cars would be nice, and I hope Teslas don't follow the same path as the DeLoreans.
