And I'm all for helping get Stupak out of healthcare.  I'm just against sabotaging healthcare because of Stupak. There is a big difference. The people who want to sabotage healthcare if it won't cover abortion aren't really progressives.

The Stupak amendment sucks, but healthcare is more important.  Throwing out healthcare because of Stupak would be unbelievably stupid.

for any reason whatsoever, including the Stupak amendment.

"Mother Fucking Loser" is for everyone who voted for Stupak and against healthcare.

These Dems signed that they'd stand against healthcare if the Stupak amendment wasn't stripped out; they're losers because they're will to stand against all healthcare over this.

    •  Well, we know you're anti-choice, but.. (0+ / 0-)
You're so hung up on your pieous view simply becuase its abortion, an issue you really don't care about.

I don't care even if you said you were pro-choice, and you have said you don't wnat the Stupak amendment in it, I'm getting to the heart of the matter, which is, WHAT IS YOUR LINE IN THE SAND?

Or, do you not have one?

Is not any amendmentnot odorous to you to have to defeat a bill you were working ongetting passed?

That's what happened to the immigration bill in '06, even the most staunched supporters of opening the borders and expanding immigration couldn't stand it because of all the poison pills laiden within it.

And staunch xenophobes couldn't support it because of all the provisions that they'd consider poison pills.

The question here is, does Fututuristic Dreamer (apt name, BTW) have any poison pills, or is anything goes with any bill you personally want seen passed?

What if they added an amendment codifiying even further Don't Ask Don't tell, or a constitutional amendment to make marriage between a man and a woman? To bring back slavery? I know I could go into some ridiculous strawmen, but the case is, if you are going to procede shouting us down on this, your arguement has to be consistant, in other words "anything goes" if any pipedream by conservatives ends up in the final bill, you still want it passed no matter what.

And that is why some of us have been questioning if you are a pretend troll of somekind, or just get what it meand to be liberal.

      •  60 people DIE every day because they don't have (0+ / 0-)

healthcare.  2,500 people will go bankrupt everyday because of medical bills.  What am I willing to sacrifice to put a stop to that? Not the rights of any oppressed group, but a hell of a lot. The government not subsidizing people exercising their rights (as they don't now), is a price I'm willing to pay to save those lives.  What are those people's lives worth to you? Clearly less than your idea of what this bill should be.

Not having public funding for abortion (which we already don't have) is a price I'm willing to pay for saving 60 lives every day.  In the real world, we don't get everything we want.

Btw - it's disrespectful to talk about slavery or the Holocaust in vain, as you did here.

        •  Many women die every day from back alley abortions (0+ / 0-)
Yep. They do. Its still going on it many southern states where there is no doctor proforming it because of state laws.

Also, stop the fake evoking of "oh noooooeeeesss"

If I had a sound board right now, I'd play Stephanie Miller's clip from Dick Van Dike "Won't Somebody think of the Children!!!"

Of course, you probably don't listen to Stephanie Miller. To left for you, and incase you missed it dickwad, I've said a  billions time I'M ONE ONE THE PEOPLE WHO NEEDS THE PUBLIC OPTION.

You care so much about the woman in the country, that you let THEM decide, not your stanky ass, if THEY WISH to sacrifice one cause for the other, its not YOUR move to make, and almost all the woman on this site right now are telling you

WE DON'T WANT TO SACRIFICE THIS CAUSE FOR THE OTHER.

It's ok to have an opinion they should. But you don't speak for any of us. WE are gaining momentum, and gaining in numbers as we go to fight this.

And, again, you lie that's it only for public insurance, it's for previate too. You're never going to win on falsehoods, I'll be here every day if I have to I'm not going anywhere (I'm disabled), I'll be here everyday as long as you continue to post that lie.

There is special place in hell for people like you.

          •  Show me where in the amendment it says (0+ / 0-)

anything about private insurance not purchased on the exchange.  You are the one who is lying here.  Here's a link to the amendment, SHOW me where.  No "what if" nonsense, show me where it says that in the bill.

Your posts are becoming more and more ridiculous all the time. I am a woman in this country, I will speak for myself and you can speak for yourself, alright?  That's what blogs are about.

I don't want to sacrifice one cause for the other either, but if that's what it takes, I can live with it.  Hell, I lived through Bush I can live through this too.  I'll keep fighting for all the right things, but I don't expect to get all of them today.  I'll take what I can get with this bill.
