    during WWII. Nasty stuff. FDR Exectuive Orders. One of the darkest periods of civil liberties in our history. Look it up

      proposing that Muslims, as an entire group, should be mass interned, based solely on their religious affiliation.  One wonders if they convert to Christianity would Malkin consider them exempt.

      While it is true that Germans, Italians, and "subversives" were interned under Executive Order by FDR, the vast majority of ethnic Germans and Italians - German Americans and Italian Americans were NOT interned under Executive Order, as were all Japanese and Japanese Americans on the West Coast of the United States (approx 110,000 people, including infants, the infirm and the elderly) under Executive Order 9066.
