  •  The most offensive part (9+ / 0-)

Is how much they percieve us to be idiots. They really think we will be ok with any "compromise" they make that isn't tangible. Someone needs to get it through their fucking heads, WE AREN'T YIELDING. THE FURTHEST WE WILL GO IS AN OPT OUT. Anything else, you can shove it right up your ass.

    •  The sad thing is that (8+ / 0-)

you don't have to yield. You don't have a vote in the Senate. They will do what they damn well please, and you will have the choice in six years of replacing them with someone else who will do the same exact thing. Eat it and like it. American democracy is broken.

The top tax bracket should be 90% for all types of income over $1,000,000.

BILL affordable. Its rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Look, bluntly, I think that the leaders of this country are dropping the ball in an attempt to weasel out of their responsibilities.

This bill is a bad bill. Its not affordable. Its not the best we can get, its the worst.

I think that from the beginning the so called "public option" was and is a scam that is basically a diversion, its a bait for a bait and switch that is not designed to ever be implemented because IT CAN'T WORK because of adverse selection.

Trying to delay it is a confession that it can't work, SO WHY BOTHER? Lets move on to something that DOES work.

Not this joke designed to serve as a sop to divert America, and to prevent REAL affordable health care

Single payer WORKS. Its popular. It would pass. WHAT THE HELL ARE WE AFRAID OF. WE KNOW IT WORKS, THIS DOESN'T.

So drop your trying to portray a bad bill as a good bill.

This good cop bad cop routine isn't fooling anybody.

Its been a colossal waste of time, designed to hijack real reform, into a prolongation of a profoundly destructive insurance and drug company hell, as we all know.

EVERY MINUTE FALLING FOR THE ABORTION TRAP SCAM is a minute NOT DISCUSSING AFFORDABILITY. Number of European countries that charge ANYBODY more: ZERO

        •  Where is the REAL health care reform? (0+ / 0-)

I don't think that it has even been discussed yet, except by the real people who have tried, but they have been thrown out of government offices for bringing up the obvious.

MRIs cost $98 in Japan, BTW.

they think we're chickenshits.  Too chickenshit to do anything about them.

Whattaya gonna do? Vote Republican? Hahahahahahahahaha!

        They don't fear the grassroots.

        Really, why should they?

    •  Thank you!! (4+ / 0-)

I couldn't have said it better, myself.  Never in my life has the urge to leave this corrupt banana republic been so strong.  Because, really, they don't give half a shit about us and their servility to their corporate masters will only continue to widen the class chasm that is already bigger than it has ever been.  I swear we need to go the gates of their "castles" with pitchforks and torches before they will even acknowledge that we exist!!

We know you've got to blame someone For your own confusion But we're on guard this time Against your final solution

        Why is dodging responsibility acceptable?

Why is lowering the standard of care acceptable?

Why is sucking up to the drug company and insurance company tit acceptable?

        •  They aren't. (0+ / 0-)

I was honestly asking why you would draw the line at an opt-out.

          •  And i just noticed that (0+ / 0-)

you aren't even the person I asked. "Theone718" said in all caps, THE FURTHEST WE WILL GO IS AN OPT-OUT. I was wondering why that was his/her line in the sand. It wasn't rhetorical.
