    With the Senate, that told me the W.H. is going for a more Peter Beinart..."Centrist" position on Healthcare.  Ask me why and I will say it in a Phrase.  Polls show we are LOSING the 2010 Midterm Elections and everyone is running like scared chickens.

      is that these idiots are catering to the people that are making the voters suffer.  If Dems want to turn those polling numbers around they have to pass health care reform with a strong public option.  I don't think that a number of the Congress folks understand how fast information travels now and people will know what they did and did not do for them or private health insurance that is making them suffer.

        Greenwald has written a lot on this phenomenon. The exact same polls that show Democrats doing poorly in November of 2010 are the ones that show the American people are far to the left of the bulk of Democrats on policy matters.
