    I don't know where it comes from, the core (chicken, vinegar oil) must be from some cookbook, but the rest I've made up over the years, having produced this one pot meal all my adult life.  I'm certain that some folks find all that garlic and onion daunting.  But the rather lengthy stewing period allows the oil to amalgamate and modify the harshness of the ingredients into a deceptively complex explosion of flavors.

    Unfortunately, I am not a "cook" since I never make the same thing twice the same way.  It's always, "I wonder how this would tasted," with me.

    Sorry.  But happy adventuring with you own personal wrinkles.  (I wonder how parsnips would taste instead of Brussels' sprouts?  Turnips?)
