Brings to mind Dick Cheney's not doing all he could have to stop an illegal, immoral war back in the day.  What a shame these little underachievements occur now and then despite everyone's best intentions and hopes and wishes and dreams and comfy mansions.

Understandably, many people have died and others have been maimed for life and our nation nearly bankrupted while military-industrial interests have fattened obscenely.

As a nation, our challenge is to design a system of oversight that will embody the lessons of these years and provide a robust framework for bombing Iran.

A pervasive sort of genius, this.

What a shame dear Mr. Grayson will only be able to watch Mr. Bernanke's presentation in the Senate rather than participating in it.

question Bernanke.  Grayson knows more about Wall Street than just about anyone in Congress, and he completely understands the motivations and exactly what the Federal Reserve is really all about:

Manipulating the stock markets?  Oh, I'm shocked, just shocked!!!

America is the only nation in history which miraculously has gone directly from barbarism to degeneration without the usual interval of civilization.
