Whatever Obama decides to do in Afghanistan is all George Bush's fault.
    Which it is, and isn't.

If Obama ups the number of troops and expects to talk us into supporting an escalation of war in Afghanistan... THEN it most assuredly becomes Obama's war.

Remember, the casualty numbers in Afghanistan have gone up steadily over this last year to record highs practically every month.  That will make many Americans - and people from other countries who are part of the UN peacekeeping forces - VERY unhappy.

There is NO good reason to escalate the war in Afghanistan, just as there was no good reason to declare war on a rag-tag international criminal gang that has no allegiance to any country and speaks for no one but themselves.  That was an entirely stupid move on the part of Dumbya, Dickie, and our Congress Critters who gave them permission to declare war in Afghanistan first, and then divert funds from the Afghan invasion to invading Iraq without impeaching Dumbya and Dickie.....

What was done in the past was the fault of Dumbya, Dickie, their criminal cabal and our Congress Critters who authorized it.

THIS pending decision of Obama's will make or break his presidency.  He's already messed up by retaining and re-appointing and appointing Repukes - especially in the Pentagon and in the military and DoJ (his penchant for "bipartisanship" is the beginning of his undoing, right along with letting cutting remarks by Dickie and Lizzie guide his military decisions; he should fire all Repukes and tell Dickie and Lizzie and the rest to STFU).  If he escalates the war in Afghanistan, I truly believe the rest of his presidency is toast and he'll not be re-elected in '12.

And I want my nephew and ALL guard and reserve troops to come home from Afghanistan and Iraq ASAP - didn't want them to be sent the first time, let alone the second, third, fourth, whatever....

      Peace.  We need peace.

it was Bush's and if Obama continues it then it is his.

            •  :-) Thanks. I wasn't sure... (1+ / 0-)

... if you were replying to me or to someone else and it got attached to my comment.

              :-)

I just don't want Obama to mess up this Afghanistan thing.  It's bad enough he's been employing Repukes.

Ratcheting up a war that should never have been declared against a bunch of international gang members with no affiliation to any country or any country's military is just stupidity at its basest level.

And I want my nephew home, not in Afghanistan again, so he can be daddy to his three kids, and appreciate the first year and more of the newest baby born ten days ago.

This so-called "news" coming out a few days before Obama is set to announce the troop increase is just propaganda to justify this surge.
