There is no evidence she did.

Neither physical nor circumstancial. There was no dna evidence that linked to her. There was nothing.

There are tons of DNA evidence. In fact, DNA is one of the strong evidence.

Or what laxmatt posted below?   It's not good DNA evidence.

    •  there was NO DNA in the Room (7+ / 0-)

from Amanda and Raffaele NONE... Loads of Guede's and of course Meredith everywhere in the bedroom and especially on and in the bed... and this was supposed to be an orgy sex game with a struggle?  repeat there was no DNA or fiber evidence from Amanda or Raffaele in the room...

there was a vanishingly small amount of DNA said to Raffaele's allegedly detected from one spot on a bra clasp and also vanishinly small amount of Amanda's alleged to be on a knife found at Raffaele's house with again trace amounts of Meredith's on the blade... very convenient and almost certainly due to contamination and also note the amounts and profile would not meet the minimum levels recognized in the US as being acceptable evidence.

And the Knife alleged to be the murder weapon DID not fit at least some of the wounds and there was a bloody mark from a knife on the sheets WHICH DID NOT MATCH THE KNIFE that the prosecution produced as the murder weapon.

This is a total travesty of justice.

and the size of the wound are the arguments by the lawyer and surely, it was picked up prominently in US prints. As if it is a fact. The knife does match the imprint. Read the actual court document.

is not as impressive.  Given the nature of the accusations, it is remarkable there was not good evidence of the presence of two more people in the room with the man who undoubtedly committed the murder.  Where was hair or fiber evidence?  They kept having to remove evidence from the ties to the young man in the crime.

In a similar odd case, a girl was murdered in Korea and two other girls didn't hear the crime.  One girl became a suspect and the FBI came to question her- and after long questioning without a lawyer, she confessed.  Problem is, the confession made little sense and there was no forensic evidence that the crime occured as it was confessed.

The a story about the prosecu tor is shocking- and from the point of view of many there is little reason to think these college students committed this murder.  The convicted killer is a serial rapist and left plenty of evidence.

media other countries also publish plenty of details that show the prosecution's mish mash to be full of holes.
