    is as absurd and bigoted as would be banning Stars of David atop synagogues because of what Bernie Madoff did.

      did Madoff operate out of Synagogues, was he calling for a world wide Zion....

      a little more of her precious column inches explaining how the Swiss came to believe that outlawing minarets on mosques would relieve the country from worry about terrorism.

      This law makes no sense at all - did they think that further pissing off Muslims bent on blowing up infidels would keep them safe?  I wish the column had explained the thinking of the 57% of the Swiss citizens who voted in favor of limiting how the Muslim population could design their houses of worship, but if I want an answer, obviously I'm going to have to read an explanation from someone who writes with more depth.
