Orthodox Judaism, unlike toothpaste and detergent, doesn't come in regular and ultra varieties (at least in any official sense).

There are dozens of strains of Hasidic jewry (including a few which are openly anti-Zionist), multiple strains of Orthodox Jewry (some of which are fairly liberal), and numerous variations in between.  There are multiple Orthodox entities, of which the OU is only one of them.

For example, there's an one Orthodox Rabbi who is preparing to build a settlement in the Negev based on pluralism and multiculturalism.  His shul is a member of the OU, but he's pretty liberal (ironically, its Rahm Emmanuel's shul).

The two Haredi parties in Israel consist of Hasidic Jews.  Ideologically, these aren't black hat orthodox.  UTJ, for instance, is a Haredi party.
