    ... I doubt the CBO is going to score the Medicare buy-in that well.  As I've said many times, these adults ages 55-64 are forgoing the generational subsidy from the adjusted community rating on the Exchange in order to get Medicare's bargaining power.  And I question whether adults ages 55-64 will save more from Medicare's bargaining power than from the House's (and the Bay State's) tighter age rating and no smoker rating.  And of course, Snowe and Collins oppose tighter rating rules, and Lieberman -- who signed onto Wyden/Bennett, which doesn't allow for an age rating (same as NY) -- clearly doesn't.

    Still, Lieberman went back on his word, and that's never a good thing when you're a politician.
