    medicare reimbursement rates without a big fight.  That is why medicare for all is a non-starter.

      and ban private insurance from health care entirely.

        (That is the way other countries control costs.  You take the rate the gov has decided on or you don't practice, sell pharmaceuticals or medical devices, or run a hospital, period.)

        I don't mind increasing medicare rates quite a bit to give them more money, but I don't think any amount that's feasible would be enough to get them (esp the Hospitals and pharma) on board.
